Clouds Behind The Vines

Williamsburg Winery Vines — May 2018

Along with everyone else who lives on the East Coast, we have had our share of rain the last two weeks. Today, the rain has stopped and the sun is out. I was on an errand and as I started driving up the hill, I saw this. I really enjoy watching clouds as they quickly drift across the sky, so I interrupted the trip and took in the show. Everything has bloomed, is growing, and is lush. The trees, somewhat like a colonial picket fence, act as an intermediary between the vines and the clouds. I wish I could demonstrate the motion and reproduce the sound of the gentle wind rustling everything while it pushes the clouds east. Maybe after looking at it for a while, you will see it and hear it, too.
